Since 1971

Arsenio Cubillán opened Hotel Santa Bárbara in 1971 to give visitors to Zulia a quiet, clean and well-run place to stay.

More than fifty years later we are still a family hotel: personal service, an inner garden with palm trees, and rooms that stay cool through the Maracaibo heat.

We are on Calle 71 at Avenida 3G, behind the BOD bank. Shops, cafés and restaurants are a short walk away, and the Vereda del Lago, the historic center and the Lake Maracaibo Bridge are a quick drive.
